Dress Code

You must be properly attired as befits the occasion. Academic dress is mandatory for all graduands attending the ceremony and all graduands are required to wear long-sleeved shirts.

Examples of appropriate dressing:

1) Long-sleeved shirt (for male/ female graduands)

2) Long pants (for male/female graduands) or knee-length skirt/dresses (for female graduands only)

3) Covered shoes (for male/female graduands) or front-covered shoes (for female graduands)

4) Tie

5) No restrictions on the colours of your own attire.

Examples of inappropriate dressing:

1) Hair that has been dyed or highlighted in unconventional colours

2) Sunglasses

3) Casual pants/jeans, t-shirts, polo shirts, shorts, culottes and bermudas

4) Low cut, bare midriff blouses

5) Mini-skirts/skirts with exceptionally high slits

6) Slippers, sneakers, canvas shoes, sports shoes, open-toe sandals

Any graduand found improperly dressed will not be permitted to attend the ceremony.
